WE PUT GENDER ON THE AGENDA
TMEA believes that trade between nations boosts economic growth, increases general wealth and reduces poverty. Yet more than half of East Africa’s most productive population is disadvantaged women. We want women and men to have equal visibility and voice, and equal access to resources and opportunities. TMEA is committed to gender equality in sustainable human development through its policies, programmes and projects.
